The Offbeats
Bucknell University Co-Ed A Cappella
About The Offbeats
The Offbeats is one of three of Bucknell’s co-ed a cappella groups. We were founded in the Spring of 2011 and have since grown to be a beloved group of enthusiastic, UPbeat, funky fresh, people who love to sing together and sing for others. Many of our members participate in a variety of other musical groups on campus such as Bucknell University Choir and Camerata. We are also deeply involved in other activities on campus, ranging from the Orientation Program, Track Team, SpeakUP Bucknell, Outdoor Education/Buckwild, Stand Up Comedy and Greek life.
Since our breakout performance at Night Before Finals in the Spring of 2011, we have gone on to perform all over campus, including at the annual Christy’s A Cappella Concert, BACES charity concerts, and our own annual semester end Fall and Spring concerts. We perform everything from Top Hits to Old School Soul, and all of the pieces that we sing are arranged by members of the group.
In the spring of 2016, the Offbeats released their first album, Heartbeats, which can be found on Spotify, iTunes, and on campus.
